This is an original rock instrumental that recycles a rhythm track originally made for a different song. Whilst my collaborator heard one song, I guess I kept hearing this one. I played bass, lead guitar and organ, and did the mixing/mastering. And commissioned the totally absurd, AI-generated cover art. “Shellter Stone” played rhythm guitar and made the drum track using EZ Drummer. Thanks for listening.
Hey @ksakers the tone of the instruments is quite good and the song is well executed, but to my ears there is a general lack of space in the arrangement. The guitar sounds great, but it is a bit too far forward in the mix and the fact that it is constantly soloing accentuates the lack of space…
Well, I have to admit that I am not an expert in this genre, so I could be wrong with my assumption… Maybe that’s how you wanted it to be, in which case I’ll keep quiet!
