Is there a link to version 2.2.x of Ardour. I’m recently reinstalled my mac and I can’t get it to run Ardour 2.4. I had it working with the X11 release on 2.2 so I figured I’d try that again. But I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Ardour version is 2.4.1, be careful At least OS X 10.4.0.
Tiger users will need to install the version from the Tiger DVD. Please note: you must install X11 in addition to the X11 SDK. For some reason, the X11 SDK is labelled “X11” by Apple, and many OS X users believe they have installed X11 by simply installing the SDK.
To verify that you’ve installed X11, check for the presence of Applications -> Utilities -> X11
