Not sure why, but almost ALL key bindings are not functioning including Delete!. The key bindings drop down is also grayed out in the User Interaction tab in Preferences and I cannot assign any shortcut lists. Editing has been very frustrating in the past 4 days without being able to use keyboard shortcuts. Oddly, the Status page indicates that the default bindings have loaded at startup.
Any help would be appreciated.
What version of Ardour are you using? My guess it that you may be using a nightly build … where all bets are off in terms of correct/intended behaviour.

This was an update from last Friday I believe. Is there a way to roll back to a functional version? I tried “Reset Bindings to Defaults” without success and created new bindings that did not take.
I just ran an upgrade in the Synaptic Package Manager and the version has been updated to the following.
Ardour 4.7.270+r15103
“Cluster and Eno”
(built from revision 4.7.270+r15103.41)
I’m happy to report that ALL default key bindings are working and shortcuts are correctly displaying in the menus.
