debug my project

Dear all, since my project did not load anymore i asked in the live chat and i was told to:

aeLiXihr: i suggest you do this sequence of commands after starting up gdb
[20:11] break main
[20:11] run
[20:11] catch throw
[20:11] continue
each time it stops, run:
[20:11] threads apply all bt
[20:12] aeLiXihr: collect the output; when done, paste the LAST one to pastebin or similar

…i am in need of some help with that. I installed the gdb.

So now, what is the sequence?
I open the terminal
type gdb [enter] and then?

nb: i have a .bak file(from the same project) which does not load either and a different project which loads fine

The issue, as you surmized with your first post, is that I don’t think you are catching what is needed, I don’t see an actual backtrace in there. See the page baptiste posted, but if that doesn’t help you, I would suggest you go back to IRC and ask for help with the debugging while you are in front of your computer so you can run those steps while talking to someone in realtime.
