Data error in duplicated midi track

1.Import a midi file to ardour 8.12.
2.Save file
3.Copy a midi track.
4.Paste the midi track to a new track.
5.The duplicated midi track is different than original one.

Test platform
1.Linux Mint 22.04
2.LMDE 6

Different how? Could you elaborate?

The first track is the original track.
The second track is duplicated track.

are the notes missing, or just not displayed?

Display issue, the sound track is correct.

There’s a good chance it is just the note range that has been picked for display. If you change that in the track header, do the notes appear?

Manual change the track header, the notes appear.

So y-axis zoom and range is not copied, and set such that not all notes are visible.
