Cure for the noise I couldn't cure

I would like to add to my “noise I can’t cure” thread but don’t know how on a closed thread. The noise was most likely a ground loop problem. I cured it by adding a Morley hum eliminator between my mixing board and my computer. The hum eliminator is an over glorified isolation transformer. I plugged it in and poof the noise was gone, at all volume levels. I of course tested it by removing the jacks and taking it out of the loop and sure enough it was there without it alright. I should have let everyone know about it several months ago when I did it but I kept forgetting to post it here. Thanks to several of the people that posted. Some had the right idea, I just didn’t have a good idea to fix it before the Morley. Too bad that I had to pay about a hundred bucks for the box, but to me it was worth it. I like the fact that I don’t have any noticeable signal loss with it attached. When I first read about the device I asked is this some sort of witchcraft or something? Turns out it;s simple electronics. Ha Ha
