Crash when trying to zoom in or out

I have a project that crashes when trying to zoom in or out using the + or - keys on the keyboard. I’ve started it from the terminal to try to get some info on why it crashes. Reports vary :

munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer
Aborted

corrupted double-linked list
Aborted

free(): invalid next size (normal)
double free or corruption (!prev)
Aborted

As an aside it also turns off “Show Editor Mixer” which has to be started again in the ‘View menu’.

Any Ideas?

What version of Ardour? What operating system? Where did you get it from?

Seablade

Sorry, I normally make a special point of add this …

-Ardour 7.5.0 (downloaded from Download Ardour | Ardour Community)
Ardour-7.5.0-x86_64.run md5sum=9189fa3ea5d202aa71731ab810b82ff8
-uname -a = Linux lkj22 6.0.0-10.1-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC liquorix 6.0-6~mx21+1 (2022-11-30) x86_64 GNU/Linux
-Distro=AVLinux (AV_Linux_MX_Edition-21.2.1_ahs_x64)
md5sum = 04fc121c0a3cd584f9e5154f6c713140

Only a specific project, or any Ardour session?

I’ve only noticed crashes on zoom in one specific project although I ardour 7.5 seems to crash randomly in a number of other projects leaving the same reports as noted above:
munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer
Aborted

corrupted double-linked list
Aborted

free(): invalid next size (normal)
double free or corruption (!prev)

Well next steps listed here:
