Crash on opening certain GUIs - Ardour 8

I’m on Windows 10 using Ardour 8.12.0, and I am getting a crash when opening a plugin’s settings. More specifically, when I open the plugin’s custom settings (it seems to be fine with generic controls), the program crashes. I have attached a Pastebin of the crash log, which seems to present with a strange error.

If anyone could help me solve this error, that would be great.

We’ve seen this when openGL (which is used by many plugin UIs) is not available.
This is usually fixed by updating the graphics drivers.

PS. in recent Virtualbox saving opengl32.dll free download | DLL‑files.com works. it can be placed in Ardour’s Program Folder, or Windows\System
