I freshly install ubuntu 14.04 on my computer and then install Ardour 4.4.0 from the ardour website. But when I try to run ardor and create a new session I get the message “audio device not valid”. If I select Jack, it will connect to jack but then when I try to create session I get, "Could not create session in “/home/…”
Any thoughts?
