Corrupt session file

image

I’ve been told there’s a slew of these lately related to Music Time rounding errors or something. Tried fixing the file myself but I can’t seem to figure out what was wrong. In my case, the session corrupted itself after (unsuccessfully) trying to recover from a crash. I don’t know if the session was corrupted before the crash and attempting to reload it revealed the problem, or the crash caused the corruption, but the crash was caused by an old problem where if you accidentally try to open EQ10Q Mono on a stereo track or vice versa, it crashes the entire session. That’s probably more than likely an issue with the plugin (which hasn’t been updated in several years apparently) but I thought I’d mention anyway.

My session file is here: Proton Drive

Yet another issue caused by Music Time rounding issues.

When starting Ardour from a terminal the following messages showed

Region Take11_Whispers_Breaths-1.28 has length a265003826@a24480868667 which is longer than its (first?) source's length of a264998400
Region Take11_Whispers_Breaths-1.24 has length a266886086@a22103840322 which is longer than its (first?) source's length of a266880000

After a search/replace of a266886086 with a266880000 and a265003826 with a264998400 the session loads again: http://robin.linuxaudio.org/tmp/Oort%20Dream.ardour
