I’ve read the following post about sending a midi message on transport stop .
It appears that Ardour generate a MMC message when the transport stop.
Unfortunately, I don’t think that my Boss RC-500 looper is able to handle this kind of message. Is there a (simple) way to convert this MMC signal to a midi CC message ?

@benoitLgrd Hi, I ended up relying on CC64 with value 0 (sustain off) for the exact same reason – the video software I was using couldn’t process MMC messages either. Sending MIDI message on transport stop - #3 by florimondmanca

That’s what I saw indeed, this is the solution I’ll try, but I wanted to know if there has been a new solution brought to this problem (say more … academic ? ;o) ). Thanks anyway for sharing your findings, it’s gonna help a lot !

Unfortunately, I can’t see any CC message on aseqdump when I hit the stop transport button (but I can see the MMC messages). If any idea …
