Connect samples to MIDI

Hi,

Well, I’m new here and in addition I don’t pratcice english frequently, so I’ll try to be simple :

A have a midi keyboard, and I want to connect this midi keyboard to several audio samples, or to assign samples to midi events. I there any way to do this with Ardour 3 ?
I know that it would be easier to use soundfonts but I haven’t found good enough sf for 8-bits music…

You can use samplv1 or drumkv1 for this. In one of them you can bind a sample to a note if i remember good.
Maybe Fabla it’s also possible with Fabla.
