I use Ubuntu based Bodhi Linux and a Mackie Pro FX8 mixer. I am new to audio and need some help configuring things… Jack, Ardour, the multiple hardware input output choices in the many ‘sound’ configurations in Linux. I find I get easily overwhemed. I look at Youtube videos and try to google these issues but still haven’t mastered the configuration issues. For example, though I can now import a wav track or two and record a guitar and voice track or two or three. I have problems trying to export or mix the final product.
Can anyone suggest a good tutorial or give general advice on the configuration process.
