Getting Stuff Done How do I .... ?

Is there a method of adding commentary or notes to tracks or projects? I want to make a written note of ideas, external hardware settings etc when I’m composing sthg.

there is a ‘comments’ button at the bottom of every mixer strip.

we have grand plans for “session meta-data” but at present, per-track comments are all there is. stick with us!

You can add comments to a track . Open the mixer window and click on the button labeled “comment” (see here: http://www.personal.uni-jena.de/~p5scrb2/ardour_comments.png )below each mixer strip to add a comment.

Awesome - thanks to all; I knew it had to be somewhere but searching around for ‘comments’ or ‘notes’ wasn’t getting me anywhere.
