Hi mates. Today I was working in a session and suddenly when I clicked on the “Choose top” option, on several overlapped regions, the window with the regions names no longer is showed. I’ve tried closing and starting the program, even switching off and on the computer, and the behaviour is the same. I’ve opened another older sessions and the behaviour there is correct, the window pops up when clicking. It only happens in this singular session. I’ve checked all the options in the “view” and “window” menus, but nothing seems to be wrong. I’m working with Ardour 6.9.0 in a PC with Ubuntu Studio 21.04. I know it’s not a major issue but is very annoying when selecting the best takes of a performance and interferes a lot with my worflow in this part of the recording phase. How do you think, guys, I can fix this?
Issue fixed. Such a silly thing. At some point, I inadvertently had changed the “Edit point” in the “Editor toolbar”. Therefore, instead of applying the edit commands at the Playhead position they were applied at the Marker position. Once this corrected, the behaviour got back to normal. Thanks Ardour is such a f***ing great piece of software.
