Changing MIDI region channel

Hi all,

opening the List Editor in a region of an imported MIDI file, I see that all the notes have “channel 2” set.
Is there an automatic way to change the region so that all notes move to channel 1 at once?

  1. press “e” to enter (internal) edit mode
  2. make sure the mouse pointer is inside the MIDI region
  3. press ctrl-a to select all notes
  4. press “c” and pick 2 from the dialog

More generally:

  1. right click on a note and choose “Transform”
  2. in the transform dialog, setup “Set Channel” “to exactly” “2”
