can't start?

my ardour is not starting. I have the latest version, and jack installed.

All i get is the bouncing icon, then stops bouncing… that’s it.

mackbook 2ghz
4gb ram
320g hd
os x 10.6.4

help much appreciated

hmm odd. i was able to fix it by running ardour from the desktop instead of from a sub-folder of my applications folder.

What is on the console(Applications>Utilites>Console.app)? Clear it out than launch Ardour, copy and paste the results here contained within CODE tags.

I suspect if all you needed to do was move it, you don’t have permissions properly set up in the subfolder of Applications you were running it from.

got the same problem. On my new MacBook Pro I have installed JackOSX 0.86 (64 bit) and latest Ardour 2.8.11/7387. But Ardou doesn’t start. In Konsole I got this:
