Can't activate OSC

Hi,
when I check the Open Sound Control (OSC) checkboxes,
they are getting unchecked after restarting Ardour.
The Service on port 3819 is not running.

The logging window shows this exception:
[ERROR]: control protocol XML node has no name property. Ignored.

I’m using:
Ardour 3.0beta5
(built from revision [‘13072’])

Any ideas what to do?

(1) the beta page for all 3.0 beta releases specifically asked everyone testing it to NOT USE THE FORUMS to discuss issues.

(2) stop using beta5 for testing. 3.0 will be released in a few days. beta5 is “old” at this point.
