Newbie here! AV Linux installed - Ardour 3 up and running, hooked up to jack, all appeared good. I could record to a single track. I started a new session, added 4 mono tracks called Audio, and they duly appeared. I can record to Audio1. I can play back and record to Audio3.
Audio 2 and Audio4 show no input and although I can apparently record to them, no signal is registered.
If I add new tracks to the session, I cannot record to them either.
I’m obviously missing something or doing something wrong, just can’t see what. Any advice would be welcome! Thanks.
You need to check what inputs those tracks are connected to. Running jack_lsp in a terminal and posting the output here might provide enough information for someone to help you further.
