I was wondering, if I save a file or a template with 6.6 then move it to another workstation but that one is using 6.0 or some other version would I still be able to use it without issues on the older version?
Theoretically yes, at least for those in the same major number revision, though I would typically recommend you just update to the most recent version on ALL machines. Exceptions to this are when a bug is fixed that was causing invalid sessions or data, such as a recent issue with recorder: prefixes for files that affect some people.
