I encountered multiple problems while trying to import a midi file exported from linuxband. I recorded a little video of what’s happening. Hope this makes sense:
bear in mind. Midi functionality in ardour is still experimentiual.
the main function of ardour is audio. this is the most important features. there is still alot of midi work to be done before its considered fully functional. for now we are essentially testing it. Some things work fine , some things you can get something down with a little perceverence.
other things dont work, its possible that the midi format that your file is using ardour just cant use for the moment
Ok. Good to know. Thought it would be helpful to report anyway. Opened a mantis ticket for this too. I’ll upload the midi file in question to the ticket too…
