I am trying to report a bug that I have seen since ardour4 (I’m now on ardour8.2.0) concerning extremely long clean-up and GUI freeze . Unfortunately I fill out all the info and submit only to be met with “INTERNAL APPLICATION ERROR Please use the “Back” button in your web browser…” . So I do that and have to start again at zero. Is there another way of doing this?

You have to get a page submitted within 5 mins. It’s a decades old bug in Mantis (the bug tracking system we use) that has never been fixed.

It’s happened to me too…
Just type up your stuff in another document, and when you’re ready, copy and paste from there.

I reported mine here on the forums. It’s slower, but it’s better for my needs, personally speaking.
And there is no guarantee it won’t get lost in the forums like this honestly, the bug tracker is a much safer and better option.

That’s true, but I don’t know how the bug tracker work. Plus, I wanted to place in what I found with GDB that one time I did post a Pipewire regression.
