Bourré Variations

Bourré Variations

Because we are amongs musicians , you might be interested in what I write in the description.

Technical aspects:

The background tracks are written in Musescore. Midi exported and imported to Audacity. Fluid synth and Red Zeppelin (fanned out to several tracks) to render. The organ solo was recorded as midi track in real time and is rendered by SetBFree. The Choir in the end part is composed of 4 identical midi tracks, using the GM Ooohs and Aaahs, and for each sound one track is constantly pitch shifted by the pitch wheel controller to get an even fuller sound. This is complemented by 9 tracks (3 for each voice) actually sung by me.

To get more depth the sine organ solo and the sung choir are fed over a delay into the reverb bus to bring them “closer” to the listener than the rest.
