Behringer X-Touch One missing functionality after update firmware

Hi all,

I was getting myself acquainted with the Behringer X-Touch One (and Ardour itself) when I noticed the Touch One was running on firmware 1.04. I updated that to latest available version (1.08), restarted the lot, and found a few ‘things’ not working anymore (at least as they did in 1.04).

Just a few:

  • The light around the turning knob;
  • Turning that knob showed my channels in the scribble, not anymore now;
  • The fader seems to have come to a stop;\
  • The signal leds are ‘dead’;

Anyone else experiencing this?
Is this a bug?

Hope to hear from you!

Kind regards,

Ton

Any chance the firmware update changed the mode it was running in? Is it still in NC assignment (Mode MC Std)?

Thanks fot your reply, Venn.
I don’t think so, as a few MC-assignments still work (don’t know what you mean by NC, and certainly don’t know how to change the running mode.
I found out there’s a version 1.07(1.05 & 1.06 combined) too, and thought maybe I have to go from 1.04 to 1.07 first and then 1.08. Downgraded to 1.04 and did that, both 1.07 and 1.08 are missing MC assignments. Guess the develop team just didn’t have the time yet to update the mappings ;-(
