I have been working on getting my BCF 2000 to work from startup with ardour, and have had some success. My challenge now is getting ardour to remember when I assign the panner to the encoder, and the transport controls to the soft keys in the lower right. I have experimented with the binding map file, changing it from controller 10 to a0, which is what the midi tracer shows when i move the encoder. the line for the panner is commented out initially, so I am prepare for the response to be “it just doesnt work yet” but just wanted to know if anybody has had any luck getting ardour to remember when you assign it. Everything else like faders (and even the send controller on the same encoder) seems to stay.
