I read the docs but havenāt managed to get Qmidiarp working in Ardour, the few YouTube videos about it are for jack and Iām sticking with alsa.
I donāt have a problem playing keyboards and since i made midnams for my Roland SH-01A, TR-6S, TR-06, Microfreak, NTS-1 and the included TB-03 i can now see all my labelled automation lanes and Iām getting really good results drawing the automation in or using the CC knobs on my Keystep 37.
My JD-800 and Alpha Juno are sysex and Iāve been using MIDI-OX, Ctrlr Editor, and attempting to reverse engineer a sysex to CC file in Bome MIDI Translator Pro on my Win PC.
Edit: Reviews of Zrythm in Discover on pi give it one star and say you will not write one bar of music before problems, if i got that far, Konsole terminal says Zrythm was successfully installed but on clicking in application launcher it briefly shows in task bar then shuts closes so ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
