Automation with LFO

Nice necrobump! Have you tried QMidiArp? QMidiArp Documentation

According to this bug feature request CV isn’t going to be supported any time soon 0007886: Support for the recording/editing CV signal? - MantisBT

If your workflow uses a lot of automation you might be better off using plugins with built-in automation or Zrythm Zrythm - Digital Audio Workstation

@tseaver @hellocatfood

I read the docs but haven’t managed to get Qmidiarp working in Ardour, the few YouTube videos about it are for jack and I’m sticking with alsa.
I don’t have a problem playing keyboards and since i made midnams for my Roland SH-01A, TR-6S, TR-06, Microfreak, NTS-1 and the included TB-03 i can now see all my labelled automation lanes and I’m getting really good results drawing the automation in or using the CC knobs on my Keystep 37.
My JD-800 and Alpha Juno are sysex and I’ve been using MIDI-OX, Ctrlr Editor, and attempting to reverse engineer a sysex to CC file in Bome MIDI Translator Pro on my Win PC.

Edit: Reviews of Zrythm in Discover on pi give it one star and say you will not write one bar of music before problems, if i got that far, Konsole terminal says Zrythm was successfully installed but on clicking in application launcher it briefly shows in task bar then shuts closes so ĀÆ_(惄)_/ĀÆ

Fired up Bespoke Synth totally customisable LFO’S on everything including CCs just doesn’t have a conventional song mode.

Hi, @Paul_Dablue &people!
Here’s a result of experimenting with ā€œmidiSimpleLFOā€ plugin by PizMIDI:
(https://thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi)

I used the Carla Rack as a ā€œCC bridgeā€ between The midiSimpleLFO and the Helm. The target parameter of the Helm is the ā€œcutoffā€///
Everything works perfectly! Good luck!!

P.S. In my Ubuntu 22.04 I’ve installed KXStudio repository and got the pizmidi-plugins:
