Asking for Ardour 8.2

Hello,
I tried this topic a while ago, but nothing came out. So I try it again :sweat_smile:

I use 8.12 but need the 8.2 binary for a few projects for personal reasons.
I donated for the 8.x versions so I thought every Point- release should be available, but I canā€™t Download this version from my Account.
Please give me a link/mail for 8.2

We (the ardour project) do not make older versions available. Other people are free to offer you copies.

I only have the Linux x86_64 binary (Ardour-8.2.0-x86_64.run). If thatā€™s what you need, Iā€™d be more than happy to share it with you.

But be aware that running binaries provided by random people on the Internet is always a risk. This is the version I personally downloaded from ardour.org and have used myself, but thatā€™s exactly what any bad actor would say. :slight_smile: So use it at your own risk.

As @songo said itā€™s touchy to dl some hazard binary so Iā€™ll add these sums from my own stock of old versions (yes, the sha256sum is the same :wink: ) to ā€œultra cross checkā€ from another source to blaze any anxiety away:
