Ardour Worship - "Rigid Constraints" Track

New to the forum so just wanted to share some of the work I’ve done recently.
Track is a product of nicotine and caffeine in large amounts…

Everything made in Ardour using mostly the standard plugins and SurgeXT.

Cover art made with Blender and GIMP.

Nice one, extericon. It’s not the type of thing I usually listen to so I don’t have anything constructive to say unfortunately, but it sounds nicely put-together and it’s a well-balanced mix I think. The industrial stereo bass synth business is very cool, really like that sound.

Which OS do you use? Was all the sound design, editing and mixing done in Ardour?

Thanks Willy! Yeah I’m not even sure what genre it fits under, maybe industrial or mid-step? Was just going for something that would make you wanna lift something heavy lol

I use Manjaro Linux and yes everything was done completely in Ardour :metal:.

I usually refrain from commenting on the work of guys who are beating Surge to death… But man – you almost destroyed the woofers of my monitors (and you made my dog to go crazy BTW)! Anyway, I like what I’m hearing! It’s pure power, underlined by a tight and extremely powerful mix. My only concern is the amount of stimulants consumed during production… How did you even fit all the packages into the studio?

This is good stuff, really.

I appreciate it thank you!
To be honest I don’t do any drugs. My vice is strictly coffee and cigarettes which fuel most of my productions haha

… also not familiar with these genres, but the track contains such a raw power.
Sound really good, I like it
Are you consuming coffee still the traditional way, or already intravenous (just kidding)

… reminds, need to get another cup myself …

Nice sound design and mixing.

Did you do the drums with Surge XT too? Or are those samples?

With the amount of coffee I drink it might actually be more efficient to just start mainlining the bean juice  thanks Peter!

Thanx! The main drums are done with Geonkick. I use General Midi Synth for other various percussion.
