As a bit of light relief from a more serious project a mate and I spend an afternoon abusing Ardour and a bottle of scotch to create this song. It was only about four hours from the boot up to the final mix and made with the mercurial HDA Intel onboard audio interface so don’t expect too much. :slight_smile: Also used were Hydrogen, ZynAddSubFX, a Vox Tonelab guitar effects unit and an Axiom 49 MIDI controller.

Hi Aidy, thanks for your kind words. Yes, I did all the vocals and guitar and my friend Pete composed the beat and played all the keyboards. In some ways I feel a bit sheepish about releasing this song as it isn’t in anyway representative of the album we are trying to record, but I guess that is what made it so quick and easy to do. Once you step outside of yourself and don’t hold something too close to your heart you stop agonising over every little bit. Maybe that’s a good attitude to bring into the main project! :slight_smile:
