Don’t make the stupidest mistake because of which plugins may not show up, I spent hours of my life to understand this, and when I realized it I almost broke my forehead with facepalm.
The Scripts folder should start with a small letter.
I mean /home/$USER/.config/ardour8/scripts.
Developers, please fix it.
Can you try rewriting this, as I don’t really understand what you are saying? Where does the typo exist looking for a large letter vs a small letter for instance? It shouldn’t affect plugins as plugins don’t really go in that folder (Except maybe Lua Plugins, not sure on those).

What is there to fix? The manual shows the path should be:
$HOME/.config/ardour8/scripts
You seem to have discovered that Ardour looks for scripts exactly where the manual indicates it will.
