Ardour Plugins Display Issue: Knobs and Switches Misaligned After Update

Hello everyone!

I’ve had a problem since I installed the new Ardour version. My plugins that I run via yabridge work, but the graphical display of the knobs and switches doesn’t work anymore. They are displayed, but they’re offset. It seems like the plugin’s graphical interface is too small, and the areas for using these controls aren’t aligned properly—they’re much too large.

I think this might be a problem because KDE Plasma now primarily works with Wayland, while Ardour still uses X11 configurations in the background? That’s just a guess. I’ve had this issue with Cachy OS, Ubuntu Studio, and Linux Mint. The Windows VST plugins are also from different companies.

Can someone help me with this?

Usually you have to set wine to use a virtual screen and set it’s size to the actual resolution of your physical screen. This will show an empty desktop fullscreen on startup of ardour, but you can put it in the background with ALT+TAB.
