Ardour doesn't start

Hello,

I paid 15 dollars yesterday and downloaded Ardour (and Jack), but Ardour doesn’t even start when I double click the icon. Nothing happens at all.

I’m using a MacBook Pro and Mountain Lion.

So I trashed the downloaded version and tried to download another version, but this seems to be impossible without paying again at least a dollar.

What do I do now?

Have you read http://ardour.org/first_time_osx_native as requested? Have you followed the steps it describes in the section titled “What to do when it doesn’t work” ?

Sorry, but I did neither of the two … Anyway, as things are, I need to download Ardour again (hopefully the right version).

OK, in the meantime I was able to download the right version for my MacBook Pro and it seems to work as it should.
