Ardour does not fully remember the state of a Pianoteq lv2 plugin which has been loaded in a midi track. Ardour does remember the instrument preset, however, the parameters of the preset are randomized, so you must reload the preset after loading the Ardour session. I suppose this may be as much the fault of Pianoteq as Ardour but it would be nice to understand why the state of the preset is not saved, so that perhaps Pianoteq and/or Ardour can be fixed so that the parameter of the preset are saved in the session.
