In Ardour Nightly 9rc1-33 from Ardour.org, SNAP gets toggled when using hotkeys for 'D’raw 'E’dit or 'G’rab modes, and probably others.
Snap does not toggle when selecting Draw, Edit, or Grab from Menu Bar.

I cannot reproduce this. Did you perhaps customize keyboard shortcuts?
PS. Also please report bugs on the Bug Tracker. The forum is a user-forum and also lacks various features for keeping track. Thanks!

No customized shortcuts of any kind.
What may be of interest is that I had removed/renamed my old ~/.config/ardour9 directory , causing Ardour9 to default. When it detected version 8 settings, I declined.
- New Session.
- Add MIDI track
- 'D’raw new MIDI region.
- Turn SNAP on
- 'E’Dit and notice snap turns off.
- Repeat steps 4-5 with ‘G’ and ‘D’ hotkeys.
Ok. I will post to tracker when I can later.

I was unable to reproduce this in a brand new session.
I Included a session archive that should exhibit the behavior. There is also a list of plugins, all open source, that I used.
