I opened an issue here.
The issue only occurs in Ardour downloaded from Ardour.org
Distro Package (Manjaro Ardour 8.2-3) working.

This issue should be fixed now. The Latest x86-64 Linux Binary build from the project page should work flawless with any version of Ardour now.
