ardour 4 "the audio backend was shutdown because: zombified"

for the past two weeks I keep getting crashes with:
“the audio backend was shutdown because: zombified”.

Ardour version= 4.7.0

PS I apologize if this has previously been dealt with. I cannot seem to find anyway of searching for keywords in the forums/support
