Ardour 3 visrtual instruments tracks

Hi guys! I’m Italian

In new Ardour 3 version you can record virtual instruments in the MIDI track like Sampletank, Kontakt for example and other in AU format?

of course. but Ardour3 has not been released (or even tested much) on OS X at this point.
