Ardour 3. Error Cannot recognize file (project name)

Hi guys I hope you all can help me.

I was working on this project due on Friday and after I cleaned up un used files and did an export i saved and closed. I noticed that I needed to change something the next day and when I went to open I got this error "Error cannot understand project file. I did try renaming the .bak file for both project and history but that did not do anything different. The only thing I did before I closed it it that maybe has something to do with it is that when I was exporting I had walked away for a while and when I came back the project was playing and I stopped it and closed it. The export screen was gone by then.

Any help would be great.

joey, go to the IRC forum and discuss it there. Discussing A3 up here means that search engines will index the discussion and people might get the wrong idea, and assume these bugs still exist. A3 is still in beta so the authors would rather it is not discussed on this forum until it’s in general release.
