Ardour 3 Download and install

Hello all. Just have a quick question: I just downloaded the new Ardour 3 64bit file (paid via paypal etc) and then installed it. But now that its installed its saying its “Ardour_x86_64-3.0beta3_11482-dbg” which is one of the old BETAS if i’m not mistaken.

When I start it I also get the BETA message about needing a lot of bug fixes and new functionality etc.

Is this normal or has something gone wrong for me?

Please accept my apologies and forgive my stupidity - I appear to have managed to open the old beta install file inadvertently.

People keep telling me an untidy desktop will get you into trouble - and here it is: Publicly made a fool of myself.
