apropos osc

for the iphone/ipod touch, there are some osc applications available.
have someone experience with e.g. the hexler touchosc application and linux. i mean is it possible to get botch working together.

maybe people which ever used the capacitive touchscreen from a ipod/iphon can be envisaging that this can be a real powerfully, professional and at least cheap tool to control ardour.

@wolke: i’ve used hexler to control Ardour. However, the version i used doesn’t provide anyway to define the message that were sent, so we (I had help from Wilm Thorsten) used SuperCollider as an intermediate to translate the messages. Or maybe that was TouchOSC … it was more than a year ago now.
