Alt-D copies MiDi clip instead of MiDi notes

I may have accidentally changed some setting somewhere, but selected MiDi notes won’t duplicate inside their MiDi clip using the keyboard shortcut any more, instead duplicating the whole clip. Ctrl-Dragging works just fine… but did I do something?

I had never know and never used Alt+D for duplicating notes… Alt+D was used only for midi-regions (clips as you call). I’ve just checked in my Ardour 5.12 in ubuntu18.04 - this works as you tell. May be previous Ardour’s versions had such possibility…
