all plugins are double

Hi.

I’ve installed ardour in Version 2.7.1 on gentoo with
kde-4.2.1 desktop. Ardour runs very well but all plugins
I’ve installed ardour shows up 2 times.

Does anyone has a solution or an idea how to eleminate
the second entry?

Hi,

it’s the same here - but I saw a bug report about it and I believe it’s fixed in svn and the upcoming 2.8 release.

Hi,

The problem is Wine, In doing Ardour VST the “Old Way” Wine versions newer than 0.9.52 would render the double Windows. Ardour 2.7.1 in SVN and latest versions of Wine don’t have this problem any longer. Whether it is the updated and improved FST or differences in Wine that fixed it I don’t know.

GMaq - this wasn’t a Wine related issue. It referred to the double listing all plugins. But yeah, both issues should be fixed now.
