SmartMIX was born of a frustration at the lack of professional quality controllers that work out of the box with Linux audio applications. We wanted it to work with great applications such as Ardour, energyXT and Renoise because that’s what we use. The software is developed in a Linux environment by a team with 15 years experience in the pro audio industry.
