New to Ardour here, trying to get the patch selection working on MIDI tracks.
Right now, I’m able to add a MIDI track with the instrument set as ‘Yoshimi’, and am able to hear output from it.
The problem is that when I want to use a specific patch for the track. When I right click the track and open the ‘Patch Change’ dialog, If I select different programs, the patch does indeed change, but I don’t get what the logic is of what patch it selects. There are no labels or names to the programs, and it seems kinda random.
Can anyone help shed some light on this?
