A6.x uninstall problem

I just installed 8.4 on my Pop_OS.
I discovered I still have some fragments of Ardour 6 (6.9, I suppose). I no longer have the executable or its uninstall script. Is it safe or even just reasonable for me to merely delete every dir and file that begins with Ardour-6? Do I need to be more judicious/subtle than that?

rm -rf /opt/Ardour-6*
rm -rf ~/.config/ardour6

Done.

This assumes that you installed Ardour 6.x from ardour.org
