It’s just one of my results on my way trying to learn ardour, or digital music in general. Rather midi, not recording. Also i am rather intererested in sounds than in “real music”. Usually only a couple of tracks and only a few bars, so nothing to complex.
Still a long way, but it sure is fun
Compared with not that long ago i now try to have more velocity settings, also i add a little bit of automation (might well be the first exported to audio session where i really did it), also not always the same note length, sometimes slightly off the grid (not sure if here).
The visualization is just so there is not a static picture only.
I can’t really find a good solution for a distorted punk/metal guitar.
mixing is really a problem for me. it lacks, no better word for it, “meat to the bone”, saturation, it is all a bit thin.
But, as said, at least it is fun. I hope someone will enjoy it too.
Thanks to all.
Yes, after being told i hear it too, drums are much too loud.
Major problem, besides me not hearing volume settings for different tracks that well right away, is after a day or two going back and forth i can’t tell left from right anymore, so i hear even less.
So what i am not good at anyway gets rather worse.
(I relooked at the session, set volume for drums down, much better, sure. For unnown reasons i had the drum track duplicated. Perhaps per acccident. I disabled the second, and it is much better without even changing volume of drum. Still no good balance, but sure better ).
GhostOnAcid: Cool. And yup, thats my cup of tea.
Again: really thanks. That helped.
