I was just going through some early recordings I made with Ardour 0.9 back in the day. There were some of the first multi track band recordings I ever did. Also there was some poetry recitation by my late grandmother. These recordings date some 15 years back. Ardour 0.9 still ran well on that Pentium III laptop.
Why I wrote all that down was to underline how impressive it is to me that Paul and the team have kept the Ardour train moving all these years! When I launch the latest Ardour5 it still feels familiar - just bigger and better.
I hope I’ll get to open the demos I am working on now in 2035 in a fresh build of Ardour 11.
