I’m playing around with some African rhythms which have a certain swing, like samba. So a beat is split into four but not evenly. “1” is on the beat. “e” “&” and “a” are brought forward a little. If the beat is divided in 32, those three are about 7/32 into the beat, 14/32 and 22/32 for what I’m doing. I thought I’d float the idea of being able to define a custom grid, with snap support of course!
