Sometimes I end up having multiple instances of the same plugin in a channel strip, having to come and go across sessions I may forget why I did something so it would be nice if we had a way of labeling those plugins in use, maybe with a button aside reset, + preset, pinout, and it could be displayed when hovering over the in-line plugin instance (right now it shows “double click to show generic GUI”).
Another thing is that some plugins show values with centesimals, for me it would be easier if it stuck to decimals for quicker adjustment. I understand this is so by plugin developer design but maybe Ardour can have a wide preference that forced plugin shown values only up to decimals?
