8.x hides loop range handles behind "plain" range markers

Hi,

After upgrading to 8.x (from 7.xxx) Loop range handles are now hidden behind range markers, making it difficult to adjust loop ranges when sitting behind existing range markers. Previous versions had different rulers for “Range Markers” and “Loop/Punch Ranges”…

Is this something configurable or is this the new normal?

I’ve experienced the same problem

Right-click on the ruler, Hoover over the menu item “Show Ranges…” and select one of the options that show up.

Yes, that’s unfortunate, one often needs both of them. I guess that the thinking was to simplify the ruler. Perhaps good for someone, bad for others.

Yep, ran into this the other day starting a song with one looped section and the loop markers on top of start/end markers… annoying!

Thanks for your inputs. I added keyboard shortcuts for “Show All Ranges” and “Show only loop range” and happy with that
